Donating FAQs

 

How do I donate online?

Go to prosintl.org, click on ‘Donate’ in the menu or scroll down to the project you want to contribute to, click on the button that says “Donate to [project]”, and follow the prompts. Our donation page can be found directly at https://www.prosintl.org/donate/.

 

 

Can my employer match my donation?

You can search if your employer matches your donation to Professionals International by visiting: https://donorbox.org/company_matching/professionals-international/search. If your company is not listed, they still may match; you’ll just need to ask them.

 

 

What if I am giving on behalf of a company?

On the second page of the donation form, there is a checkbox for “donating on behalf of a company.'' Check that box and fill out the rest of the form.

 

 

What options do I have to give?

If you use Apple products and visiting our site with the Safari browser, you may be prompted right away to give via Apple Pay; otherwise, Google Pay may be available. You can also choose credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. Credit cards are processed securely through Stripe. Bank transfers are also processed through Stripe, verification through Plaid. Choosing PayPal will redirect you to PayPal, where you will need an account and have your payment methods connected (credit/debit cards and/or bank account). You can also mail a check.

 

 

How do I give through my bank (EFT or ACH)?

This is a great choice as it has the lowest fees, particularly when donating larger amounts. When prompted for payment method on the donation form, choose “Bank Transfer” and connect securely to your bank. You can also use PayPal if your bank account is set up, but the fees may be more. If these options do not work for you, please contact us at info@prosintl.org, and we will provide you with the information you need to make a bank transfer.

 

 

How can I mail a check?

Please make a check payable to Professionals International with the project’s name in the Memo line. Mail check to: Professionals International-PRINT, PO Box 1018, Marana, AZ  85653. (This is a different address than before because we are in the process of moving from Washington to Arizona)

 

 

How do I set up recurring donations?

On the donation form, choose the interval of recurring donation you wish to make (monthly, quarterly, or annually). You will receive an email with instructions on how you can manage and change your recurring donations, powered by DonorBox.

 

 

Can I choose to cover any processing fees so the project gets more of my donation?

Absolutely, and thank you! When prompted for payment method, there is a checkbox at the bottom indicating the amount of fees based upon your donation amount and method. Check that box. You will also notice the amount in the confirmation button change accordingly.

 

 

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes. We are a 501(c)3 public charity of the United States of America. You will receive a receipt of your donation and a report of your annual contributions.

 

 

Can I make my donation anonymous?

Yes. On the second stage of the donation form, there is a checkbox “Make donation anonymous”. We always keep your personal information private; this will further mark your donation as anonymous in our records. You will still need to give an email address in order to receive a receipt.
